What is SIA Door Supervisor Course?
To work in the UK as a Door Supervisor you need to complete the SIA Door Supervisor Course obtain a licence from the Security Industry Authority (SIA). The SIA are the regulatory body for the UK Security Industry and it is they who lay down the rules on who should and who shouldn’t be licensed.
To get door supervisor license you will need to attend a four part training course and pass four exams. The course may be delivered in 6 days (Minimum 44 hours Class is required by SIA for this course- without completion of 44 hours your certificate may be invalidated). We run this door supervisor course every week and at the end of the door supervisor course, there will be an examination.

The door supervisor course will cover the below topics, plus an assessment at the end of the week.
- Unit 1: Principles of working in the private security industry
- Unit 2- Principles of working as a door supervisor in the private security industry
- Unit 3 – Application of conflict management in the private security industry
- Unit 4 – Application of physical intervention skills in the private security industry
- Course assessment: Assessment method: Multiple choice examination & Observation.
You must attend a 6 day door supervisor course, once you place your order we will contact you directly with the dates available for you to attend, we have classes every week for the Level 2 National certificate for Door supervisor all over London.
Applying To Your SIA Licence
Once you’ve completed your Door Supervisors course you can then apply for your SIA Licence by requesting an application pack here. Once you’ve applied for your licence it may take between 2 weeks and a few months to arrive.
