From April 2025, all licence holders must complete the SIA Top-Up Refresher Training to stay compliant with the latest industry standards, safety procedures, and legal regulations.

This course is for Door Supervisor SIA Renewal and includes ‘Top-Up’ Refresher Training + First Aid Course!

Initial Deposit: £80 (Outstanding Payment in the Office £120).
Duration: 2 Days (9:00 AM – 6:30 PM).
Includes: Emergency First Aid.
Location: Park Royal London NW10 7SU.

SIA Top-Up Refresher + First Aid Course – Park Royal, London

Renew Your SIA Licence & Stay Compliant

Starting from April 2025, all Door Supervisors and Security Guards must successfully complete the SIA Top-Up Refresher Training before applying for licence renewal. This course is designed to keep security professionals updated with new industry regulations, safety protocols, and operational best practices.

By completing this course, you ensure compliance with SIA’s latest requirements, covering conflict management, physical intervention, emergency procedures, and first aid training.

£200 DS Top Up Refresher Training + Emergency First Aid Course 2 Days Training (Every Sat and Sun | 09:00-19:00)

 

Who Should Take This Course?

✔️ Door Supervisors looking to renew their SIA Licence
✔️ Security Guards transitioning to a Security Guard Licence
✔️ Licence holders trained before April 2021 (must complete refresher training by 31 March 2025)

What This Course Covers

Module 1: Key Responsibilities of a Door Supervisor (Refresher)

Effective security search procedures
Managing vulnerable individuals in public settings
Recognising and responding to terror threats
Identifying and preventing spiking incidents

Assessment:

  • Multiple-choice exam (35 questions – 55 minutes)
  • Practical security search assessment

Module 2: Practical Physical Intervention Techniques

Legal considerations of physical intervention
Minimising risks when handling security incidents
Applying safe, non-pain compliant restraint and escorting techniques

Assessment:

  • Multiple-choice test (30 questions – 45 minutes)
  • Practical assessment of intervention skills
  • Oral Q&A session

Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) – Required for Licence Renewal

Before enrolling in the SIA Refresher Training, all candidates must hold a valid Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) certificate or equivalent.

To simplify the process, we offer a combined package that includes both SIA Refresher Training and Emergency First Aid, allowing you to complete all requirements in one go.
