To get an SIA Security Guard Course license, you must attend a four-part training course and pass four exams. The course may be delivered in 4 days. (SIA requires a minimum of 55 hours of Class for this course; without completing 55 hours, your certificate may be invalidated.) Please note that Emergency First Aid Training is compulsory. If you have not completed it already, please include it.Â
How long is the training course?
It has been designed to be completed in 4 Days (although more extended tuition or self-study options may be available).
What documents do I need to bring with me?
First, you must bring Identification documents such as a Passport or driver’s licence as proof of ID. Secondly, you must provide two proof of address HMRC letters, Tax bills, utility bills, bank statements, etc. Finally, you must also bring two passport-size photographs.
Entry Requirements: You must have an Emergency First Aid at Work certificate or completion evidence, and you must be over 18

On the final day of your course, there will be three multiple-choice exams and a practical assessment. Everything you need to know is covered in the SIA Security Guard Course, and your training instructor will fully prepare you for success. Furthermore, you will receive mock exam papers to help you prepare for the exams.
